Laura's love of radio began as a child, when she would make radio shows in her bedroom on at tape recorder.

At college she entered a competition which was inside a magazine to make a 5 minute radio show, and she was regional winner.

As a result, her details were sent to the local media and led to work experience at her local FM radio station.

Laura joined Worcester's hospital radio during her year out, then she went to Uni in 2000 to study a Degree in Media (Radio Production).
During her time at Uni, she became a Christian and her love for Contemporary Christian Music began. She worked at a Christian Radio Station in Birmingham, where she coordinated a Thought for the Day feature on local radio and eventually started presenting a show called The Lighthouse on Youthcomm Radio in Worcester for 4 years.

Over the years she presented various shows on different stations. Laura joined Dean Radio back in 2020  as the co-presenter of the Saturday morning show, The Forest Fry Up. After a few months she began producing and presenting The Showcase, with features, interviews and a mix of Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). She Passionately believes this music is for everyone, as we all need hope.

In 2021 Laura became a TV presenter for a local Christian Media Organisation and is now presenting and producing in her day job, but she is still passionate about radio.
